Setting up the Catapult Power Plan

The Power Plan can affect performance within Thunder, and we recommend that the settings are the following.

Steps:

1. Download the attached CAT Power Plan - Setup.zip file (Found at the bottom of the article). 
2. Right Click and Extract All.
3. Right Click on the CAT Power Plan - Setup.bat file and run it as admin.
   1. Enter the Admin Credentials if prompted.
4. Press Enter to close the Command Prompt Window. 
   ** If your machine utilizes an Intel graphics card continue to step 5 after confirming that you are on the correct Intel Driver and Intel Driver Settings. 
5. Download this file.
6. Double click on the file and choose to run it, then press yes and OK. 
7. Navigate to the search bar, and search for the Control Panel.
   
8. Choose Power Options, then choose to Change the plan settings for the CAT Power Plan.
   
9. Choose advanced power settings.
10. Find and expand Intel(R) Graphics Settings > Intel(R) Graphics Power Plan.
11. Change On Battery and Plugged in to Max Performance. 
    
12. To confirm that the settings stick, reboot the machine. If the settings revert back, please check with IT to see if there is a Group Policy on these settings. If further questions/assistance is needed, contact Customer Support.
