Intel Graphics Command Center:
- Make sure there are no other Intel Graphics Settings software installed beside the Intel Graphics Command Center. (i.e Intel Graphics Control Panel)
- Open the Intel Graphics Command Center
- Navigate to the Video section within the UI
- Create a custom profile by selecting the + symbol over custom and name it XOS
- Under the setting for the XOS Profile ENABLE\DISABLE the following:
- ENABLE Standard Color Correction
- DISABLE Noise Reduction
- DISABLE Film Mode Detection
- DISABLE Skin Tone Enhancement
- DISABLE Total Color Correction
- DISABLE Contrast Enhancement
- Navigate to the System section within the UI and select the Power Tab
- For any power plans available in the dropdown, disable any Power Saving options for both On Battery and Plugged In. If Panel Self Refresh is an option DISABLE it (Available on various models)
- DISABLE Panel Self Refresh
- DISABLE Power Saving Options (On Battery and Plugged In)
- Once all available plans are adjusted, change the Power Plan to Maximum Performance and verify all settings are correct
- Navigate back to the Video section within the UI and confirm XOS is the active power plan
Intel UHD Control Panel - Graphics Settings:
- Locate the Intel Graphics Settings by right clicking on the desktop
- After selecting the Intel Graphics Settings you will see the below.
- Select video
- Select Color Enhancement
- Select driver settings under standard color correction
- Select Image Enhancement
- Disable Skin Tone Enhancement
- Disable Contrast Enhancement and Disable Film Mode Detection
- Click back on Video at the top and then select Power
- Disable Panel Self Refresh on the Battery and Plugged In options if the setting is there (some machine types do not have this option)
- Apply and save the changes before you exit the Graphics Control Panel
