Set Color lets you color a list in your folders, so the lists you go back to most stand out at a glance. Color one list or several at once, and everyone who can see the list sees the same color. It's built for video coordinators, analysts and coaches who keep large folder structures across a season.

Before you start
- You'll need Hub Pro 2.15 or later.
- Any role except Guest can set list colors. That's the same access as drawing annotations, so if you can draw on a clip in a list, you can color the list.
- The list must be one you can edit. On a read-only share, Set Color is greyed out.
- Only lists can be colored. Folders, sources and auto cut-ups can't.
- Works in the Hub Pro desktop app (Mac and Windows), in a browser and on iPad. On iPhone you'll see list colors but can't set them.
Step 1: Open the list's menu
- In your folders, hover over the list and click the ⋮ menu at the end of its row. On iPad, select the list first.
- Choose Set Color.
Step 2: Pick a color
- Pick one of the eight colors: red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, purple or pink.
- You'll see "Updated the color of 1 list", and the list name changes to that color.
- The color shows wherever the list appears in your folders.
Shared with everyone. The color is saved with the list, so everyone who can see it sees the same color. Others see it once they've opened the list.
Step 3: Color several lists at once
- Select several lists in your folders. The selection bar at the bottom of the panel shows how many, for example 4 items.
- Click the palette in the selection bar (its tooltip reads Set Color) and pick a color. You'll see "Updated the color of 4 lists".
- You can also open the ⋮ menu on any selected list and choose Set Color.
Set Color missing? If your selection includes a folder or a source, Set Color is hidden. Select lists only.
Step 4: Clear Color
- Open Set Color the same way, from the list's ⋮ menu or the selection bar, and choose Clear Color.
- Clear Color is greyed out until the list has a color.
Need a hand?
- Set Color greyed out? You don't have permission to edit this list. Ask its owner for edit access.
- No Set Color at all? Your role is Guest. Ask your Hub Pro administrator.
- A teammate can't see the color? They need to open the list once, then the color shows in their folders.
- Using Thunder too? List colors carry over to Thunder and back. Row colors stay in Hub Pro.
