Screenshot turns the paused frame in the Hub Pro video player into a high-resolution PNG. Copy it to your clipboard, save it, or drop it straight into the playlist. It's built for coaches and video coordinators pulling a still into a playbook, a scouting report or a meeting slide without leaving the film.

Before you start
- You'll need the Power User, Administrator or Super Administrator role. Other roles won't see the camera button.
- Works in the Hub Pro desktop app, in a browser and on iPad. On iPad, Add to playlist isn't available yet.
- To add a screenshot to a playlist, the list must be one you can edit.
Step 1: Pause and click the camera
- Pause on the exact frame you want.
- Click the camera button in the player's display controls, just left of Presenter mode. Its tooltip reads Take a screenshot.
- One angle showing: the screenshot's taken right away.
- More than one angle: pick All angles to capture them together in one grid, or choose a single angle by name.
- Still images in a playlist can be captured too.
Camera greyed out? Hover over it to see why. Usually the video's still playing or the frame hasn't finished loading.
Step 2: Check the preview
- The Screenshot window shows a preview of the image.
- Below it you'll see what was captured and the size, for example SL · 1280 × 720 PNG.
- The image is locked in when you click, so moving on in the video won't change it.
Step 3: Choose what to include
- Include overlay keeps the on-screen text overlay in the image. Untick it to leave the overlay out.
- Include drawings keeps saved annotations and Quick Draw strokes.
- An option's greyed out if that layer isn't on screen, for example No drawings on screen.
- Hub Pro remembers your choices for next time.
Step 4: Copy or save
- Click Copy to clipboard to paste the image into a slide or another app. You'll see Screenshot copied, and the window stays open so you can save it or add it to the playlist too.
- Click Save to computer to save the PNG. The desktop app opens a save dialog, and a browser downloads the file.
- On iPad and iPhone the button reads Share and opens the share sheet, where you can save the image, send it to Files or AirDrop it.
Step 5: Add it to your playlist
- Click Add to playlist. The image is added right after the clip that was selected when you took the screenshot.
- It's named Clip name - Angle - Screenshot 1, and the number goes up with each new screenshot of the same clip and angle. Saved files use the same name.
- It moves like any other item in the list.
Need a hand?
- Camera greyed out? Pause the video, wait for the frame to load, or check it isn't a PowerPoint slide. Slides can't be captured yet.
- No camera button at all? Your role doesn't include Screenshot. Ask your Hub Pro administrator.
- Copy greyed out? Your browser can't copy images. Use Save to computer instead.
- Include overlay or Include drawings greyed out? That layer isn't on screen for this frame.
- Add to playlist greyed out? The list can't take new media, for example a read-only share, a source, an auto cut-up, a temporary list or an imported package. Hover over the button to see why.
- No Add to playlist button? It isn't available on iPad or iPhone yet, or in report, drill-down and Playbook players.
