How To Update Client Computer Thunder Versions

Description: 

When new builds are released, you may wish to update (i.e. from Thunder Hockey 21.1.0.14 to 21.1.0.34)

Steps:

1. Download the version of Thunder you wish to run from the appropriate Release Notes
2. Uninstall the old version of Thunder by right-clicking the Windows Icon and selecting "Apps and Features"
   
3. Locate Thunder, left-click it, and select Uninstall and select Uninstall on the pop-up window
   
   
4. Select "Remove" when the uninstall window opens
   
5. When the uninstall is complete, select Finish
   
6. Locate the installer for the newer version of Thunder and double-click the .exe
   
7. Select your install preferences and select Next
   
8. Select the next set of preferences and select "Install"
   
9. When it completes, select Finish, and then restart the computer when prompted
   
   
   
10. After reboot, Thunder will launch with the new versions

Notes

• If staying within Major versions (Thunder 19 to 19, 20 to 20, etc), there is no need to drop and recreate the subscription
• Minor updates can be done while in travel mode
• If upgrading to a new Major version (Thunder 19 to 20), drop the subscription prior to upgrading
