How does the Exchange site interact with the Console?
Using any web browser, the Exchange site creates download jobs that the Console is actively listening for. A job lives in the queue until the Console picks the job up and starts the download. The Console reports back to the Exchange site so you can see the status of the job. This allows tyour Console to be installed anywhere with an internet connection - not only on the machine your creating jobs from.
Can we configure a download priority?
You can do this by leveraging multiple Console clients. Set your highest priority teams to download to one Console through the Filter Teams option. Use another Console client to exclude the priority teams and all other files will download there. You can learn more about our Filter Teams option here.
Why do I see folders being added and deleted in the Downloads folder?
We segment our files downloads to ensure you can recover in the event you lose an internet connection, your computer goes to sleep, or your Console machine loses power. When we do this your download folder will create a temporary folder to hold the segments. This folder is automatically deleted once the file is downloaded and is moved to the main folder.
