Description:
The Intel Arc Control software allows users to manage the installation and performance settings of the Intel Graphics chipset. This guide will walk through the installation and setup of the Intel Arc Control software to ensure the latest Intel driver is configured.
After Installation, please make sure the configuration steps are taken to avoid unwanted notifications from the utility.

Pre Reqs:
Minimum System Requirements for Intel® Arc Control
- 11th Generation Intel® Core processor or newer or an Intel® Arc™ Dedicated Graphics card
- Windows® 10 version 2004 or higher
- Windows 11* version 21H2 or higher
- Intel® Graphics driver version 30.0.101.1325 or newer
- Intel® Driver & Support Assistant version 22.1.8.8 or newer
- Internet connection
Installation:
- Download the installer from the link HERE
- Extract the zip file and double-click on the executable.
- Agree to install the Intel Driver and Support Assistant and run the installation utility.
- Launch the Support Assistant

Under the Intel Arc and Iris Xe Graphics - Windows, select I understand and wish to proceed and select Download. Once the file downloads, click Install
- Click Begin Installation and follow the prompts to perform a Clean Install of the Intel Graphics Driver and Intel Graphics Software
- After completion, reboot the computer.
- After reboot, navigate to the Device Manager and expand "Display Adapters", right click on the Intel adapter and select Properties
- Under the "Driver" tab, confirm the version matches the one listed in the Intel Driver and Support Assist list
- 9/2025: The installer seems to not be correctly removing older versions, so take note to verify the driver is new
- If it is showing an older version, select "Uninstall" from that menu and check the box to "Attempt to remove the driver for this device" then select "Uninstall" (Devices with multiple displays may only show on a single display, this is expected and/or screen resolution will fluctuate)
- Once complete, select Action>Scan for hardware changes in Device Manager
- The screen may flash a few more times. Once complete, return to Display Adapters>Your Intel adapter, right-click>Properties, and then confirm the correct driver version is listed in the Driver tab
Disabling Notifications:
- Launch the Intel Graphics Software from the start menu.
- Settings>Preferences
- Disable "Show Notifications"
- Disable "Show Notifications"
- Settings>Preferences
