Video Hardware Warranty Policy
Catapult Hardware Philosophy
Regular maintenance of your hardware will improve your users experience
- Scheduled restarts of clients and servers
- Keeping current on Windows Updates, excluding feature updates
- OS drive space review
- Eagle Eye installation and reporting to Catapult Support (servers only)
Retiring hardware after prolonged use is critical
- Database servers are recommended to be replaced after three years
- Media servers are recommended to be replaced after four years
- Retired servers can be repurposed as backups, archive or for file sharing
- Client hardware should be replaced after four years of use
Warranty Information
Servers – Full Support/Extended Support/End of Life
Full support
- Guaranteed 24 business hour turnaround on hardware (drives, controller cards, etc)
- If the server cannot be repaired, it will be replaced at no cost, with a similar model
Extended support
- Begins 4 years after the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified on Purchase Agreement
- Supported to run Thunder
- Cannot guarantee 24 business hour turnaround on hardware
- If parts are not available, any parts purchased through 3rd party vendors are at the customer’s cost.
- If parts cannot be acquired, the server will need to be replaced by purchasing a newer model
End of Life
- Begins 6 years from date of purchase, unless otherwise specified on Purchase Agreement
- Servers are no longer supported to run Thunder
- Hardware will not be repaired or replaced
- Should be retired
Clients – Full Support/Extended Support/End of Life
Full support
- Guaranteed 24 business hour turnaround on hardware replacement parts
- Dell onsite support
- If the client cannot be repaired, it will be replaced it at no cost with a similar model
Extended support
- Begins 3 years after the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified on Purchase Agreement
- Supported to run Thunder
- Cannot guarantee 24 business hour turnaround on hardware
- If parts are not available, any parts purchased through 3rd party vendors are at the customer’s cost.
- If parts cannot be acquired the client will need to be replaced by purchasing a newer model
End of Life

- Due to camera malfunction
- Does not cover physical damage caused by external forces such as baseball/softball hitting camera lens
- Per Axis Communications warranty plan

- No longer replaced
