PFF Cutup Generator

Create edits in Thunder by linking PFF PlayIDs to existing media in your system

When a new coach comes from a team using PFF data, you can create cutups using PFF's Cutups Generator instead of importing raw media.

This saves storage space by linking to existing game edits and media instead of importing duplicate files.

Prerequisites

• The cutup you are receiving from another team must have it's plays resolved with PFF data
  • pff_PLAYID field needs to be populated
• Your system must have the new cutup's media references imported and resolved with PFF data
  • pff_PLAYID field needs to be populated

Directions for Team Sending cutups

• Load cutup in your system and select PFF headings group or show single pff_PLAYID field in the playlist
  
• Export Headings group to Excel or copy pff_PLAYID column to the attached excel sheet (Shared) CUTUP GENERATOR.xlsx
  • Paste pff_PLAYID column into the PLAYID column in Excel
    
• Send (Shared) CUTUP GENERATOR.xlsx to team receiving the new cutups
  • Must do this for each edit you are sending
  • Can combine all edits to 1 excel sheet, but each cutup must be it's own tab
  • Duplicate the first tab to keep the existing column layout and formulas

Directions for Team receiving cutups

• Open up PFF Ultimate site
  • http://ultimate.pff.com/
• Select Cutups Generator
  
  
• Copy the CUT/PASTE column from (Shared) CUTUP GENERATOR.xlsx 
• Paste into PFF PLAY IDS bar on PFF Ultimate Cutups Generator page
  
• Click Video option in PFF Ultimate site to launch the edit to Thunder
  • Thunder must be open
• Save the edit in Thunder
