We understand that security is a top priority, and we want to assure you that safeguarding your information is of utmost importance to us. We'd like to share some best practices recommended for Thundercloud to enhance the security of your experience with our app.
We strongly recommend enabling the Mobile Device ID Check when setting up a new user account. This additional layer of verification ensures that only authorized devices can access your account, adding an extra level of security to your data.
To further your account security, consider implementing Web 2-Step Authentication for product permissions. This two-step verification process provides an added safeguard against unauthorized access.
Regularly reviewing and managing the devices connected to your account is crucial for maintaining security. Ensure that only trusted devices have access and remove any unfamiliar or outdated devices from the list.
Periodically resetting your password is a simple yet effective security measure. We recommend creating strong, unique passwords and updating them regularly. Avoid shared passwords amongst accounts, and avoid shared ThunderCloud accounts.
ThunderCloud Administrators can generate ThunderCloud Usage Reports. These reports offer detailed insights into the edits and playbooks accessed by users within ThunderCloud. Monitoring these reports consistently is a proactive step towards ensuring the security and integrity of your ThunderCloud environment.
We understand that security is an ongoing concern, and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with these best practices to strengthen the protection of your ThunderCloud account. Additionally, please take a moment to review Thunder’s Security Best Practices in the below links:
