Overview:

The XOS TC-10 server if used to transcode and push ThunderCloud Media.  The device is configured with a Windows 10 operating system with an Intel 4600 Graphics Driver.  This driver can produce 2 transcode streams of video verified to perform 6x faster than the standard XOS Transcode Server.  The TC-10 can also act as a ThunderCloud Sync Server, which enables it to be an All-In-One ThunderCloud device.

BEST PRACTICES:

• Never use a windows Remote Desktop session to access the server.  Doing so will disable the Intel graphics card and the transcode process
• The server must be logged into in order for the transcode process to start.  After a reboot, it is important to log directly into the server to make sure the appropriate process have started.  Users should see a Command Prompt windows open when everything has been successfully started.

• The TC-10 is configured to run 2 transcode streams at one time.  Users should never see more than 2 files processing on the server.
• The Intel 4600 graphics card should be running driver version 20.19.15.4352
