In Thunder version 25.3.0.60, users now have the ability to enable Global Color Tags on their organization’s Thunder systems. Global color tags that are assigned to an edit or a play will be visible to every Thunder user on the same network.
Prerequisites
- Minimum Thunder server version: 25.1.2.17
- Global Color Tags can only be used with a resolved master or edit with game properties
Color Tag Setup
Steps 1 - 4 are for Admin users or higher only.
- Select “Football HD” → Open Application Settings → Select “Playlist”
Select “Setup: Global” button to configure global color tags
- Select number of enabled color flags (maximum 20) and the desired Group/SOB that the color tags will belong to
Toggle “Save global Color tags in Masters” ON or OFF.
- This checkbox will be toggled off by default. If auto-save is toggled off, that means that changes are not being saved back to the Thunder DB. This is ideal if users are adding global color tags for the current session but do not want to save them permanently.
- Toggling auto-save ON will save every global color tag change back to the Thunder database.
Using Global Color Tags
- Load an edit or master (note: Edit needs to have Game Properties or needs to be a resolved master)
Select the flag icon in the playlist header. From the drop-down menu, select “Global Tags.”
- Tag each play as desired.
- To save a color tag to a play, right-click on the play and select “Save Color Tags”
- Users will have the choice to save the color tag to a new edit, and existing edit, or separately. When users choose to save separately, a new edit will be created for each unique global color tag.
