Color Tags
Color Tag Setup
- Navigate to the Settings menu in Thunder and click on the Playlist section
- Click the Tag color for current play radio button in the When the Remote’s “Tag” button is pressed… area
- Click Setup to define the number and color order of color tags that the user will cycle through
- Select 1 to 20 different color tags
- Users can define the colors they’d like to appear by clicking the dropdown next to the order number and selecting a new color from the palette
- Click OK to save the selection and exit the Settings menu
Using Color Tags
- Color tags will replace the flag icon next to the play name when the tag button is pressed on the remote or the tag keyboard shortcut is hit (‘ \ ‘)
- Continue to hit the tag button to cycle through the color selection
- A number will appear as well as the color in the color tag column
- If watching video in full screen the color tag will appear in the top left of the video playback screen
- The color tag column can be sorted, filtered and used in quickie stats like other columns
- The number in the color tag column will appear in the filtered and quickie stats columns
- Alphanumeric sorts are based on the number in the color tag column
- Users can right click on a play or group of plays in the playlist to quickly assign or remove a color tag
- Select the plays in the playlist and right click
- Scroll to the Set Color Tag for Plays… section
- On the next menu choose None to remove the colors or assign a new one
Color Tag Things to Know
- Currently, there is no automatic edit creation based off of color tags
- Users must manually save their color tags to individual edits
- This can be done quickly by filtering or utilizing quickie stats
- Color tags are automatically saved per user
- Color tag settings follow the user login regardless of what computer they log in on
- Color tags will not display when an edit is sent to a Shared To folder
